Pricing Questions

What does the $100 intake fee cover?
The intake fee is a one-time charge paid at the start of your case. It covers your initial intake call, case file setup, review of your court order, and assignment of a TruVisit-certified supervisor. You pay this once — it does not recur.
How does the report pricing work?
Your first two session reports per calendar month are included at no charge. After that, additional reports are $10 each. Most clients need one report per session, so for families with two visits per month, reports are fully covered.
Is there a minimum session length?
Sessions have a 2-hour minimum at $50 per hour, so the minimum session cost is $100. Additional time beyond the first two hours is billed in one-hour increments. Most court-ordered visits range from two to three hours depending on the order. We will always confirm the session length in advance with both parties.
Who pays — custodial or non-custodial parent?
Payment responsibility is typically outlined in your court order or parenting plan. Many Florida orders specify that the parent whose time-sharing is being supervised is responsible for supervision costs. We work with whatever arrangement your order dictates and can discuss payment logistics during your intake call.
Do you offer payment plans?
We understand that family court proceedings are expensive. Please discuss your situation with our intake coordinator — we will do our best to work with you on a schedule that keeps your case moving forward.

Common Questions About Supervised Visitation in Miami

Can't find your answer? Submit a case inquiry — we're happy to walk you through the process.

Get Started
What is supervised visitation and do I need it?
Supervised visitation — in Florida, often called supervised time-sharing — is a court-ordered arrangement where a professional third party is present during a visit between a child and a parent. Courts typically order it when there are safety concerns, a history of domestic issues, or when rebuilding a parent-child relationship under monitored conditions. If your Miami-Dade court order or parenting plan specifies supervised time-sharing, you are required to use a qualified provider like TruVisit.
How do I get started with TruVisit Miami?
Create your account in our secure client portal and start intake online — most families finish in about 10 minutes. Have a copy of your court order handy. We'll review the requirements, collect the $100 intake fee, assign your supervisor, and have your first session scheduled — typically within 48 to 72 hours of completing intake.
Where do visits take place in Miami-Dade County?
Sessions take place at community locations mutually agreed upon by both parties and approved by TruVisit — typically public parks, family-friendly restaurants, indoor play areas, or other neutral community venues throughout the Miami metro area. We work with families across Miami, Hialeah, Miami Beach, Kendall, Homestead, Coral Gables, Doral, North Miami, and surrounding communities.
Are your reports accepted by the Miami-Dade family courts?
Yes. TruVisit session reports are written in objective, non-editorial professional language, timestamped throughout the session, and formatted to meet the documentation standards required by family courts. Our reports are regularly used by family law attorneys and submitted in cases before the Family Division of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida.
Do you have Spanish-speaking supervisors?
Yes. Miami-Dade is a bilingual community and TruVisit Miami staffs accordingly — Spanish-speaking supervisors are available on request, and visits can be conducted in English, Spanish, or both. Session reports are always written in English for court use.
Can my attorney contact TruVisit directly?
Absolutely. Attorneys and GALs can submit an inquiry online to discuss a client's case, request reports, or coordinate documentation. Attorney communication is included at no extra charge. We work alongside legal counsel regularly and understand the demands of family law litigation.
What happens if a session needs to be rescheduled?
We understand that schedules change — and in South Florida, weather sometimes changes them for you. Contact your TruVisit coordinator as soon as possible if a session needs to be moved. We'll coordinate with both parties and the supervisor to find an alternative time. We ask for at least 24 hours notice when possible to avoid scheduling complications.
